Kit was easy to use and directions easy to follow, very quick from the time we received the kit, sent in the impressions and received the final product. Communcation the entire time was great and we are very satisfied with the final product. Retainers fit great!
Not an easy process, and the retainers dont really retain, but might work as whitening trays.
I have had no issues with this company at all they have the best communication any company could ever have. They provide all information thats needed plus more, they treat you like family instead of a customer 10 out 10 the best over the rest!!!

I was very skeptical about this. Creating the impression was pretty easy (took me two tries, luckily they send you two sets of putty). The whole process moved very quickly. My retainers arrived and they fit like a dream. Very high quality. This was so much better than going to a dentist or orthodontist and so much cheaper!! I am a customer for life!
I'm so happy that this service exists! I had my built in retainer taken out due to it producing cavities on all my front teeth, so I knew it would be best for me to find another option. They sent me the kit right away - I got it within a week. They sent three sets of putty just in case I messed up, which I did the first time, but the second one I got right and their team responded in the morning of the next business day. They included a return label and I was able to get my retainer within a week and a half. Great service!
I am pleased with Retainers Direct. Saw an ad on Facebook and decided to take a chance since my previous retainers were at least 15 years old…and not in great shape anymore (cracked, discolored, etc). I ordered my kit back in March 2024 and received it within a week, but I didn’t actually do my impressions until June. They were super easy to do! I loved that they had an extra putty in the kit because, on my first attempt, I mixed too much and my putty hardened. lol After that it was smooth sailing! I emailed pics of my impressions to Retainers Direct and they replied within 24 hours. Dropped them off in the mail the next day and received my new retainers in about 2 weeks. They fit well and look great. Will definitely order another spare set!
So unbelievably easy and affordable as a college student. I had been calling around to multiple dentists and orthodontists to get a new mold and retainers done after my other ones were cracking and breaking, only to find the cost would be $200-$250. Jaw on the floor when I heard those prices.
Honestly waiting the two weeks from getting the impression kit to receiving my new retainers was worth it. They fit like a glove and I LOVE the fact that they’ll keep my mold/scan attached to my account in case I need to order another set.
If you’re in a pinch and need a retainer I suggest just going to the dentist! This took 2 months to get to me. After you send back the mold it can take up to 20 business days for them to ship the product back to you. Unfortunately mine took longer and they didn’t even communicate with me that it would! I had to reach out twice for updates. I will give them credit that this product feels like it’s good quality now that it’s in hand. If you are looking for some back up retainers this is a good option just keep in mind it’ll take a while and you might not get status updates.

Clear Lower Retainers I never received it
I ordered this product 3/15/24 and it is now 5/6/24 , we were sent the kit to do the molding process but still have yet to receive any kind of confirmation or update on the product being finished or shipped.
They will tell you 10/15 business days then after that will tell you by the end of next week. Then another two weeks goes by then they will tell you by the end of the week. Then they still won’t ship. 8 weeks and who knows when it will even ship. Be prepared for it to take a while.
Takes so long. Around a 6 week process. The top retainer is so tight it’s an issue to get off. Bottom fits great. It’s expensive for it to take so long and for them both to not fit perfectly. However, it’s super convenient and probably cheaper than if I went to an orthodontist. Overall, customer service has been great about answering emails for updates and such. Just sad the top doesn’t fit great.

It was very easy to do! And came out perfect! Would definitely recommend it to other people. Just the process after you mail back takes a little bit of time.
